999 Ghosts And Restless Spirits Have Chosen Active Retirement in the Haunted Mansion.
Should You Desire to Become Number 1000, Visiting Privileges Have Begun... *
Don't be left out in the sunshine!
Return soon and visit these happy haunting grounds ---
Good evening, my foolish friends, and welcome to the Haunted Mansion! My Name is AprilDecember, and I've lived here in this dark, dank, dusty, moldering sanctum of the spirit world for many years now (since August 9, 1969, to be precise). Since January of 2005, though, you're going to have to look harder to see me.
The Haunted Mansion is a most beautiful home - a showplace among showplaces, and a popular retirement community for Happy Haunts from all over the world!
Our halls are exquisitely decorated, filled with priceless objets d'art. Though grand, our accommodations are always homey, with just enough dust, cobwebs, and decay to give the place that highly-sought-after 'unlived in" look. Our garden-graveyards are damp and shady, always stocked with the creepiest of symbolic flora and fauna.
It's one big party, this place...with music, dancing, and silliness going on at all hours of the night. In October-December, we celebrate the Hallowe'en and Christmas holidays with our friend Jack Skellington. This is our wildest party of the year!
As popular a destination as the Haunted Mansion is, we have always had trouble filling that one last vacancy. There are 999 happy haunts here, but there is room for a thousand. If you'd like to fill the last slot, hurry back to us! And be sure to bring your Death Certificate. We've been DYING to have you.
Should you decide to join us, arrangements may be made at the end of this virtual tour. Contact Little Leota, c/o The Haunted Mansion, Disneyland, California. And remember, there are also vacancies at our Disneyland Paris complex (Phantom Manor), our Tokyo Disneyland Mansion, and our Walt Disney World Mansion in Orange County, Florida.
